Developer //

I love algorithms and getting lost exploring why they work. Iโ€™m a creative coder, ๐Ÿ‘จ๐Ÿปโ€๐Ÿ’ป iOS developer, and aspiring ๐Ÿ‘จ๐Ÿปโ€๐ŸŽจ artist. I โ™ฅ๏ธ Project Euler, I enjoy writing Swift and Wolfram Language code. But truth be told, my heart will always belong to Processing. SRSLY, So. Much. Fun. I worked with high school students to build pincushion โ€“ a native iOS app to manage ๐Ÿ‘ฐ๐Ÿฝ dress fittings and alterations contracts for the wedding industry. Lately I’ve been playing with ๐Ÿ‘จ๐Ÿปโ€๐Ÿ”ฌ ๐ŸPython and Jupyter Notebooks. Mathematica is rad, but pretty ๐Ÿ’ต expensive.

This is what I was created to do. Iโ€™ve had the opportunity to work with ๐Ÿซ high school students across many disciplines, and am convinced that meaningful learning is most probable in a ๐Ÿงถ๐Ÿฅฝ โœ๐Ÿป project-based context. Iโ€™m a reformed behaviorist who fell in love with ๐Ÿ‘ท๐Ÿปโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿ—Constructionsim. ๐Ÿค” ๐Ÿ˜ค ๐Ÿคฉ Struggle is essential to learning, as are ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ โ˜‘๏ธ quality tasks. My โค๏ธ passion for learning is fueled by the opportunity to โœ๐Ÿป ๐Ÿ”ˆshare it with others. Iโ€™m a multi-paradigm educator adept at ๐ŸŽจ designing & managing student projects, ๐Ÿงญ guiding student exploration, ๐Ÿ‘จ๐Ÿปโ€๐Ÿซ lecturing effectively, facilitating ๐Ÿง Socratic Seminars and โœ๐Ÿป Writerโ€™s Workshops.
